Silent Hill 2 remake is hiding a Morse code message that boosts a popular fan theory

If you pay attention to certain TVs in the Brookhaven Hospital area of Silent Hill 2 Remake, you may find a Morse code pattern that shares a secret message.

Nothing is what it seems. The line between the real and the unreal is blurred between the streets of the cursed town. Silent Hill 2, the remake by Bloober Team, follows in the footsteps of the classic and tells an introspective story in which James Sunderland faces his own demons. The game introduces many new secrets, some of them as hidden as the one this player has found. It is a message in Morse code that can be found on the televisions at Brookhaven Hospital. Of course, listening to it is difficult because the sound is camouflaged among the static noise of the broadcast.

This piece may contain spoilers for the main story.

As the user himself explains, “the Morse code is distinguishable”, since it makes “a clicking sound reminiscent of a telegraph. Louder clicks mark the beginning of the signal, while softer clicks mark the end. If we listen carefully, we can decipher the following message.” And what is that mystery? “Again and”, “Again and again”. The studio has not commented on the matter, so there has been speculation that it fits with one of the most widespread theories among fans: that James is locked up in Silent Hill and condemned to relive the search for his wife Mary again and again
