Someone found a listing for a home with screenshots from The Sims 4 while looking for a place to live
Finding a place to live is hard enough without people pulling off tricks like this listing, where someone tried to pass The Sims 4 as real life.
Every day, many people are faced with the difficult task of finding a place to live in among a sea of expensive offers and poorly maintained homes. Mortgages that are difficult to access, rents at very high prices, scarcity... In addition, there are times when a component of surrealism must be added to the situation, as is the case of this X (Twitter) user, who was searching the internet looking for an apartment to live in until they came across an ad that they simply couldn’t believe.
It is a 441 square feet studio, ground floor without elevator located in Valencia, Spain (Avenida de la Música, in Alborache) for 425 euros per month. So far, nothing strange, until you get to the images of the supposed property and surprise! They are images of a house from The Sims 4, the popular life simulation video game from Maxis and EA. “Searching for a home, I was left in shock with this listing that my husband found” said the user on Twitter/X. “It’s insane. Tell me you can see the monumental b*llsh*t that can be clearly seen in this ad?? Because… I can also make money like this!!! I’ve already reported it in the app.”
The ad has since been removed, although You can still access the page it was on and check that it corresponds to the same description. The most curious thing is that, despite the fact that the user in question had reported it, Idealista indicates that the advertiser itself has removed the ad.
