Sony officially acknowledges Bloodborne during the PlayStation 30th anniversary celebrations, and fans are going wild

As part of a very emotional video celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation, a glimpse of hope for Bloodborne fans has appeared.

Sony continues to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation and as part of the party, this afternoon the company shared a video that looks back at the history of the brand with several clips of some of the most important games that have been on their consoles. In principle, nothing out of the ordinary, although FromSoftware fans were quick to sound all the alarms when they saw the last vignette on the trailer, as it’s reserved for Bloodborne, tagged with the phrase “It’s about Perseverance”.

You don’t have to think too much to relate that perseverance to what millions of players have shown to have since they have been asking for Bloodborne Remake for several years to come true. And if not that, they at least want some type of remastering or patch with the long-awaited 60 FPS on modern consoles. Will Sony finish off the party with that long-awaited announcement?

This is the video in question, in which the Japanese company reviews the history of PlayStation with clips of various games developed by PlayStation Studios and third parties, with a strong link to the brand, such as Kingdom Hearts (Square Enix), Resident Evil (Capcom), Death Stranding (Kojima Productions), and many more.

Where to play Bloodborne in 2024

Without knowing if 2025 it will be possible to do so on other platforms with a hypothetical renewed version, today you can enjoy Bloodborne and its Old Hunters expansion on PS4 and PS5 thanks to backward compatibility. Additionally, the game is included for both consoles through PS Plus Extra and Premium.
