Speedrunners have already finished Starfield in under 3 hours
Never failing to surprise, the speedrunning community has already managed to make some incredible records with Starfield, and they keep finding more exploits
Starfield is not yet available to all players, since only those who bought the Constellation Edition, which granted early access to the game since August 31, have been able to play it. However, that is not an obstacle for the first feats in the form of speedruns to begin to appear, since there is already one space adventurer who has completed it in less than 3 hours.
This route has appeared on the Starfield speedrun channel on Discord, where the first videos are already beginning to appear showing how many players venture to finish it in the shortest possible time. For now, YouTube user Micrologist has been the one who has achieved the most striking time, it being three hours that you can find in full in the video below, which of course, they’re full of spoilers.
However, as we said before, the official launch of the game has not happened yet -it will be tomorrow on the 6th-, with which it is to be expected that this mark will be surpassed sooner rather than later. In fact, many of the members of that channel confess to being in search of bugs and exploits that allow them to go below 3 hours, even with “disputable” means.
No cats or dogs at Starfield
Just today fans found out they will not be able to pet dogs or cats in Starfield, as all of them seem to have disappeared. As can be read in one of the many text documents that can be found in the Bethesda game, Labradors have gone extinct in the game universe, something that seems to have happened with other dog breeds as well, and in the same way with the cats, since there is no trace of them. Interestingly, these animals were present in the early concept art for Starfield, although it was ultimately decided not to include them.
