‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ final trailer recaps Peter Parker’s MCU story
The new footage revisits Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home before Spider-Man returns to theaters.
We’re just a few days away from the theatrical release of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day.’ The cast is currently participating in events with fans and the press around the world… and why not… there’s still time and space for one final trailer, which you can watch below.
Peter’s journey continues
The trailer gives us a glimpse into the story of Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, in his MCU films. From his first solo adventure in ‘Homecoming’, through his European adventure in ‘Far From Home’, to all the multiverse chaos unleashed in ‘No Way Home’. Peter’s journey with his friends has been a long one, and after the latest film, he’s left with the decision that has shaped him the most for ‘Spider-Man Brand New Day.’
As such, the trailer doesn’t reveal any new details. Peter is seen reading the letter again—the one he was going to read to MJ at the end of ‘No Way Home’. The Hulk, The Hand, and Scorpion are still in the picture, and we still don’t know who will play Sadie Sink (although she recently mentioned that she won’t be Aunt May).
The Future of the MCU
Even though Spider-Man is the closest thing we have to a release, there’s still a lot to look forward to in the MCU. Just yesterday we got the first trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘, after months of silence following the teasers featuring Captain America, Thor, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. Although the trailer didn’t reveal much about what to expect from the movie either, it did give us those first multiverse encounters between the current major characters of the cinematic universe. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves—Spider-Man comes first.
