Spotify’s official Twitter / X account has not yet commented on the matter and no statement has been issued, but that could be a good sign. Maybe they think that the connectivity issues will be fixed quickly and that it’s not even worth making a statement.
When will Spotify be up and running again?
Given the importance of the application to the entertainment world and the blow to Spotify’s image, the downtime should not last too long and it is likely to be a matter of minutes before they are back up and running. You can follow any updates on the status of Spotify from the application’s status page and from the Downdetector website, a site where users report problems and outages broken down by operator, time zone of the alerts, and geographical areas. There, the current crash has already accumulated almost a thousand reports.
