Spy x Family confirms season 3, though Anya still doesn’t know when they’ll return
The Forger family is set to return to continue with Operation Strix, although there is no launch window at this time.
Our favorite anime family of spies, assassins, and telepaths confirms its return. Through a publication on social networks, it has been announced that Spy x Family will return for a third season.
Through the official account of ‘Spy x Family’ on X (formerly know as Twitter), it was announced that the production of the third season of the anime is official. For now, the details are minimal and there is no release window in which it will arrive. However, the production team presented artwork designed by art director Yuni Yoshida and drawn by anime character designer and chief animation director Kazuaki Shimada. In this one, Anya and Bond are resting in the middle of a messy room, while through the door you can see the feet of Loid and Yor.
The Latest from the Forgers
The second season of ‘Spy x Family’ had its debut on October 7th, 2023, it had a total of 12 episodes and ended on December 23rd. However, we didn’t have to wait that long, because a few months later we had the premiere of ‘Spy x Family: Code White’, a movie that brought the Forger family to the big screen.
Speaking of ‘Spy x Family: Code White’, we noted in our review that “The movie works perfectly as a way to enter the world of this anime because, in its microcosm as a story that lives separately from what is seen in the anime or manga, it manages to capture the elements necessary to understand the essence of what this series is all about. The animation work keeps up with, and in some cases surpasses, what we see on television with situations and scenes that could not work in the same way within the series.”
For now, and while more information about the third season arrives, we await the arrival of Spy x Anya: Operation Memories, a title coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on June 27.
