Spy x Family shows off its first trailer for season three, and all we want is peanut ice cream
The Forgers are almost back with new adventures and a revamped team.
The Forgers have kept us waiting for a long time. Since December 2023, we have been waiting for the Spy x Family anime to return with a third season. And while we already had something to look forward to with the movie Spy x Family - Code: White, it’s time for the story of the most intricate plan to save the world to continue. Now, beyond the artwork that had calmed us down, we finally have the first trailer showing us that season 3 does indeed exist.
A new staff behind Spy x Family
In addition to giving us a sneak peek at what we can expect in season 3, TOHO animation revealed the team behind the anime. Among the most notable changes is the departure of season 2 directors Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Takahiro Harada, who will be replaced by Yuokiko Imai, who directed some episodes in previous seasons, to direct this work at Wit Studio and CloverWorks.
Loid, Yor, and Anya Forger made their anime debut in April 2022 with their first season, with the second season arriving in October 2023. Later that year, the first Spy x Family movie, Code: White, debuted in Japan that December, and hit international theaters in April 2024.
For now, Season 3 remains on track for its October 2025 release date.
