Star Wars: The Bad Batch will end in 2024 with Season 3

Star Wars Celebration attendees were treated to a trailer featuring characters such as Rex, Emperor Palpatine, and Fennec Shand.

Star Wars La Remesa Mala

The second season of The Bad Batch concluded on an open-ended note, so it was only natural that it would continue. During the show’s panel at Star Wars: Celebration in London, Lucasfilm announced its renewal for a third and final season. The Bad Batch is currently in production and will be available on Disney+ until 2024.

Here is the first teaser for The Bad Batch Season 3

The first teaser was shown behind closed doors, but the official Star Wars website has posted a transcript with interesting details. It begins with Emperor Palpatine, again played by Ian McDiarmid, visiting Dr. Royce Hemlock at Mount Tantiss, where cloning experiments are being conducted. “It is imperative that this facility remain secure,” he tells him. “Your brilliance is a great asset to this Empire.”

Next, Squadron 99 appears, and Hunter talks about the fate of Omega, who the Imperials have captured. “Omega’s been waiting for us. I’m not making her wait another day.” At the same time, Omega and Crosshair remain prisoners in the same place: “I’m not giving up on you, Crosshair. I won’t leave you, either. You’re my brother.”

The teaser features a variety of planets and characters, including Republic commandos, clones, Rex and giant creatures. “Why is there always a huge monster!” asks Wrecker before firing a thermal detonator.

Ming-Na Wen, the actress who plays Fennec Shand, had already been expected to appear in the next season of the series, although the renewal had not been made official until now. The bounty hunter, the future right-hand of Boba Fett, is a deadly assassin.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch stars a very special clone squadron: the original members, as we met them in The Clone Wars, were Crosshair, Tech, Hunter and Wrecker, although Omega and Echo joined later.
