State of Play June 2nd, 2026 recap: Wolverine, Ace Combat 8 and God of War Laufey... everything announced
After a more than 60-minute presentation focused on PS5 games, these are all the titles announced during their State of Play.
PlayStation surprised us last week with the announcement of a new State of Play as one of the kicking points of Summer Game Fest. This time, and after 60 minutes of announcements, we got a brand look at what can we expect on PlayStation’s future in the coming months.
We got all kinds of news, from glimpses of titles we already knew about and release dates (we’d better start getting ready for September) to sneak peeks at titles that had been the subject of rumors, such as the surprising God of War: Laufey or Until Dawn 2. Without a doubt, it was a great start to the 2026 gaming summer.
