Stellar Blade Confirms Release Date and Celebrates with New Action-packed Trailer

Sony’s State of Play gave us a closer look at SHIFT UP Corporation’s action title.

The anticipated Stellar Blade was shown for several minutes of new gameplay in Sony’s State of Play, a title that we were eager to see and that surprised us with its similar style to NieR Automata, as we are facing a sci-fi adventure full of action and exploration. The game will be released on PS5 on April 26th.

PS Plus games coming in February 2024

The Essential mode of PlayStation Plus has already confirmed its trio of aces for the month of February. We already knew that Foamstars, Square Enix’s proposal, would launch on the subscription, but there were still two names to put in the box. The first one is Rollerdrome (PS5, PS4), the new work of Roll7. After the success of the OlliOlli saga, the team exchanges the skateboard for skates and an arsenal of fire aimed at the hordes of enemies that will stalk the protagonist. Not for nothing was it one of the most acclaimed games of 2022.

In second place is Steelrising (PS5). Many titles have followed the inertia of the Soulslike formula. Spiders did the same, bringing these mechanics to a game that exudes visual identity. We travel to a dystopian French Revolution, where automatons live established in society... until everything goes wrong. If you like this kind of game, you should not miss the opportunity to try it out.

To conclude this review, we will do it with the first one mentioned: Foamstars (PS5, PS4). Many classify it as Square Enix’s Splatoon. There are noticeable similarities, although here the ink is replaced by foam cannons that leave the entire stage lost. The Luchaespuma tournament will open for 4v4 matches to flood the stages of the city of Burbópolis with bubbles.

The games will be added to the service on February 6 and can be redeemed until March 4. In the meantime, you can do the same with the games selected in January: A Plague Tale Requiem (PS5), Evil West (PS5, PS4), and Nobody Saves the World (PS5, PS4). Remember, once you redeem them, they are yours forever and you can play them as long as you are a PS Plus member.
