Stellar Blade has been confirmed to have a sequel, which will be released sooner than you think
Shift Up plans to release the game before 2027.
Finally, Eve is here to stay. Following the success of the first installment, which was released in April 2024, Shift Up has confirmed that its strategic plans for the coming years include a Stellar Blade sequel.
This can be deduced from the document published by the Korean studio. Among the many figures, economic results, and strategic slogans, the confirmation of these plans stands out at the end of the document. As the graph at the end of the document shows, the new installment of Stellar Blade will be released before 2027. In fact, a new title codenamed Project Witches will be released before that date.
Exclusivity on the PS5 is not guaranteed
Unlike the original game, this sequel may not be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 because Sony has not confirmed its participation in the financing. The only certainty is that it will be available on the Japanese company’s console and PC. However, we should not rule out its arrival on Xbox, at least for the moment.
The first installment left a very positive impression, proving itself to be a solid action game despite the controversy surrounding the model of its voluptuous protagonist and statements by its creators before its release.
