Strinova, the ingenious 5V5 shooter with anime style, launches its open beta, how to participate

If you’ve been waiting for an original alternative to Overwatch, this is your chance.

The competitive shooter scene is going through an extraordinary moment, but with the likes of Counter-Strike and Valorant dominating the horizon, it may seem that all is said and done, when it is not. Proof that fresh concepts can still be brought to this dynamic genre is Strinova, an anime style 5V5 shooter that was the talk of the Esports World Cup and Tokyo Game Show, and whose open beta has just begun.

Developed by iDreamSky studio and distributed by NetEase, Strinova is a third-person tactical shooter with intricate maps, a wide repertoire of combat accessories and a unique mix of weapons and abilities, spiced up by the Stringify system.

In addition to Strinova’s personality, iDreamSky’s game aims to make its mark with the Stringify mechanic, which allows combatants to switch between 2D and 3D planes in a way not seen in any other shooter, with an effect that goes beyond cosmetics to affect gameplay and player strategy. Switching between the two forms improves the character’s mobility, allowing them to move through tight spaces, dodge bullets, and gain other strategic advantages that are only possible thanks to this unique mechanic. Characters have access to a primary weapon, a variety of secondary weapons, an active ability, a passive ability, and another ultimate ability.

How do I join the Strinova beta?

Combining the aesthetics of Genshin Impact with the thrill of competitive play seems like a winning formula for Strinova. But if you want to find out for yourself, you can sign up for the beta or superstring test using this link. It is important to note that sign-ups will only be available for a limited time, and that the test period itself will end on October 21.
