Summer Game Fest confirms its return in 2024
Geoff Keighley, creator and host of Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards, has announced that the event will return in June 2024.
With good and bad conferences, games that have attracted attention, and others that seem to have gone by unnoticed, Summer Game Fest 2023 has turned out to be a complete success. For this reason, Geoff Keighley himself, host of the event, has announced that we will have it back next year.
“After a record-setting 2023, we are excited to share some news,” Keighley said on Twitter. “Summer Game Fest will return in June 2024, including our live showcase event hosted by Geoff Keighley and Summer Game Fest Play Days organized by iam8bit. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.”
These Play Days are an event for media and influencers in which both are able to get their hands on some of the games presented during the event, and which takes place in Los Angeles.
All the games of the Summer Game Fest 2023
Today we released a summary of all the games presented during Summer Game Fest 2023. Among them, some stand out, such as Star Wars Outlaws, the open world developed by Ubisoft Massive, Mortal Kombat 1, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, and the one that probably has been the big star of the show thanks to a massive deep dive, Starfield.
It was during the Xbox Showcase that we found out what Bethesda has been working on: a gigantic space RPG in which practically everything is possible, and which becomes the dream of all those who have dreamed of exploring space with almost no limitations. With a bit of No Man’s Sky, some Mass Effect, and the identity stamp of Todd Howard’s team when it comes to creating great role-playing games, it will arrive in September with everything set to dispute the throne of GOTY 2023 with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
It is also worth noting the resurgence of Ubisoft, which last Monday gave us a conference in which they presented, in addition to the aforementioned and promising Star Wars Outlaws, and Assaassin’s Creed Mirage, other more than interesting titles such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Crew Motorfest, or Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
