Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: this is the unexpected cameo of MrBeast that has surprised the audience

YouTube sensation MrBeast seems to have all the time in the world. Between his challenges, his fitness, or his extravagant videos, he has taken the time to do something different. It has been announced that he makes a brief appearance in the recently released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The official Twitter account for the film shared the credits, revealing that MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, plays a character named “Times Square Guy.”

When does the MrBeast cameo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem?

In the movie, during a flashback scene, the turtles’ mentor and father figure, Splinter (voiced by Jackie Chan), ventures into the human world and finds himself in Times Square. As he tries to blend in, the crowd realizes he is a giant rat and angrily confronts him.

Enter Times Square Guy, portrayed by MrBeast. He approaches Splinter and jokingly comments, “It’s just a bad Mickey Mouse costume.” However, when he realizes that Splinter is actually a real giant rat, he panics and exclaims, “It’s real. I touched it!”

More Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Come

Fortunately for Ninja Turtles fans and those who loved this new take on the heroes in a half shell, there will be more to come in the future. Just last week, Variety reported that a sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has been greenlit, along with two seasons of a spin-off series called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This season will air on Paramount+ and will serve as a tie-in between the two films.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is now in theaters and the voice cast includes  Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Ayo Edebiri, John Cena, Rose Byrne, Maya Rudolph, Ice Cube, Paul Rudd, and Post Malone (who now has the One Ring).
