‘Terrifier 3’ is so wild theaters are offering barf-bags and Hollywood refuses to finance its projection
Damien Leone new from the start that his ‘Terrifier’ saga would be seen with disdain at Hollywood, but the third film is actually causing headlines.
That the ‘Terrifier’ saga always ensures a good dose of violence, blood, and gore is a statement way beyond any doubt, as it always pushes the limits to go a bit further. The bloody — and charismatic — killer clown Art returns on October 31 to prove it, since it is the day of the premiere of ‘Terrifier 3′ in theaters, a film so gory that it may be fighting face to face with ‘The Substance’, Demi Moore’s new body horror film that’s making people run out of the cinema.
So much so, that director Damien Leone has assured that during conversations with various production companies that were considering betting on the project, almost no one in Hollywood was willing to put money into the film. The reason? Its extreme levels of sadism, violence, and blood, of course. There are many expectations surrounding ‘Terrifier 3′, because if it really is much wilder than the previous installments of the franchise, it certainly won’t be an exaggeration.
What’s more, there are movie theaters that offer each spectator a vomit bag in the first screenings with a drawing of the evil clown printed on it. Judging by the message shared by Signature Entertainment, it seems that more than one person has needed to use it... That is why it should not take anyone by surprise that some critics define the film as “the most evil and savage thing” they have ever seen in their lives. And you? Will you be able to bear it?
