Nominees for the GOTY 2023

Some say there will be no battle this year, and that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has every chance of being crowned Best Game of 2023. It’s a Metacritic top seller, a runaway sales success, and a massive title that continues to go viral today for its crafting mechanics, among other things.

As you already know, the GOTY 2023 nominees will be announced later this year, and there will be a total of 6 favorites fighting for the award. Following Metacritic as the main element that influences the decision process, everything points to Resident Evil 4 Remake, Metroid Prime Remastered and Street Fighter 6 being in the fight alongside Link’s adventure. In addition, it is customary to find a more modest game to add variety to the list (last year there was Stray), so we could think of games like Hi-Fi Rush and Humanity, among others.
