The award-winning Hades is coming to the Netflix app this month

The 2020 Game of the Year nominee from Supergiant Games is the next title coming to the Netflix gaming platform in March.

Netflix continues to add titles to its mobile gaming service, and this time it has picked up one of the most important 2020 titles. In a press release, the streaming service announced that Hades, the impressive title from Supergiant Games, will be coming to the service next month.

The game will arrive on March 19 only for iOS. For now, pre-registration is already available, and some improvements have been announced for this mobile version, such as 60 fps support, customizable touch controls, redesigned menus and interfaces, achievements, and offline play.

Hades, very close to Olympus

The rogue-like dungeon crawler title from Supergiant Games is one of the most memorable titles of 2020, being nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards and winning the award for Best Action Game of the competition. The title allows us to control Zagreus in his attempt to escape from the underworld to Mount Olympus, being helped by the rest of the Greek pantheon, gaining powers and upgrades that help him in his battles. The rogue-like nature forced the protagonist to perish and revive to try again, having a new combination as he climbs, but gaining permanent upgrades.

Hades 2, getting closer and closer

Fortunately, we haven’t seen the last of this roguelike, as Supergiant Games announced Hades 2 at The Game Awards 2022. This title will put Zargeus to rest and focus on Melinoe, princess of the underworld, in her quest for the Titan of Time. For now, there is no release date, but an early access for Steam and Epic Games Store is coming, scheduled for the second quarter of 2024, (that is, between April and June), if nothing else changes in its development.
