The big question about one of the horror movies of the year has been answered: Does the dog die in ‘Good Boy’?
One media outlet has already been able to access the question that has all horror fans worried.

When 2025 comes to an end, we’ll be talking about how good it has been for the horror genre: ‘Weapons,’ ‘Bring Her Back,’ ‘Sinners,’ ‘Dangerous Animals’... However, there is one film that has stayed out of the spotlight but is attracting a lot of attention thanks to its original approach. Indeed, we are talking about ‘Good Boy,’ narrated from the perspective of a dog and which plays with those moments when our pet stares, apparently, into nothingness.
The film has unexpectedly gone viral, with Google searches on the issue that most concerns potential viewers increasing by 2000%. We know that some people are particularly sensitive to the fate of animals in films, even completely dismissing them if the animal protagonist dies. Therefore, now that we know the definitive answer, we are going to reveal it so that everyone can decide for themselves, provided they don’t mind a rather significant spoiler, of course.
Spoilers for the movie ‘Good Boy’ will be mentioned below.

Does the dog die in Good Boy? SPOILERS
Animal lovers can rest easy when going to the movies, because no, the friendly dog Indy does not die in ‘Good Boy’, according to Bloody Disgusting. That doesn’t mean the poor thing won’t have a rough time, though, because spending an hour and a quarter surrounded by ghosts is no picnic.
Directed by Ben Leonberg, ‘Good Boy’ is an unprecedented offering not only in the found footage genre, but in horror in general. The dog starring in the film, whose real name is Indy and who is in fact Leonberg’s companion in real life, has been praised for his performance, even receiving an honorary award, the Howl of Fame Award.
“Do you ever wonder why your dog stares at empty corners, barks for no reason, or refuses to go into the basement?” said Leonberg. “‘Good Boy’ is the story of a dog who sees everything that makes noise at night.” The film premieres in the United States this October.
