The biggest gameplay changes in Madden NFL 24 from the previous game

A few weeks before its release, EA Sports has released a new video showing the gameplay of Madden NFL 24 and some fans have already reacted.

Madden NFL 24 is upon us and with it the great debate of whether sports games are the same year after year. A few months ago, we visited the Electronic Arts offices in Redwood Shores to get a first look at all the changes and improvements that this new version will bring.

Among them, we saw an update of the FieldSENSE system, as well as the integration of Sapiens, the tool that will allow EA Tiburon to create more realistic players following a series of archetypes. At the time we could not see much, but now this changes as EA Sports released a video of almost 30 minutes where it gives the first glimpse of the gameplay of this release.

The first gameplay of Madden NFL 24 reactions

From the hands of two Madden pros, Dezz805 and CleffTheGod, we got a glimpse of what this new installment will be like and while we already knew some of the changes that the game will bring, it is interesting to see it run more directly. Beyond what is shown, it is interesting to see people’s comments and reactions. For example, someone comments that “the offense can’t just throw high every play and get away with it.” This is because one of the adjustments was to improve defensive reactions both at the line of scrimmage and in the open field. On the other hand, it is mentioned that “the celebrations look much more realistic”, this is due to something called Gameplay Emotion, where players on the field recognize moments where big plays have been made and react to either successful or unsuccessful plays.
