The‘ Blade’ reboot with Mahershala Ali is once again without a director

‘Blade’ seems as far away as ever, with news of new issues plaguing the production as the latest director leaves the Marvel project.

If there are two Marvel productions that have experienced numerous problems in recent months, they are ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ and the reboot of ‘Blade’. However, the first one has been able to refocus its production work, while the second continues to face setback afer setback, with the newest issue being that its director, Yann Demange, has recently left the project.

Announced four years ago and starring Mahershala Ali, ‘Blade’ has gone through several problems, including the abandonment of several scriptwriters and directors, with Demange being the last to leave the ship. The first was Bassam Tariq, who alleged “creative differences,” and as for the scriptwriters, there have been no less than six who have gone through the project.

The future of ‘Blade’ continues to look complicated

According to the insider specialized in the MCU Jeff Sneider, Mahershala Ali’s frustration with Demange has grown as the work progressed, eventually ensuring that Despite being a very talented director, he is also a “difficult person to work with”. It is rumored that the film’s production restarted just a few months ago because key members involved in the script were not satisfied with the result.
