‘The Boys’ comes to Call of Duty Warzone with the same brutality that defines the series

Call of Duty: Warzone is once again teaming up with ‘The Boys’ to cross the two universes in a special event. The superheroes of the Prime Video series return, accompanied by new faces in the video game, such as A-Train and Firecracker. Their trailer, which you can see at the top of this article, leaves no doubt about the brutality they will bring to the battle royale.

The two aforementioned characters are part of the content included in Season 1 Reloaded, which is roughly the usual mid-season boost. You will be able to go to the in-game store and purchase the Operator Packs for 2400 COD points, which is about $19.99. In addition to being able to dress as them, you will also receive weapon projects, special executions, and various cosmetic items such as calling cards, emblems, and amulets.

The recreation of the executions we see in the series is complete. Below this paragraph, you can see A-Train doing his special grinder with an enemy’s head. You can do this yourself if you hold down the melee button on an enemy’s back. Of course, you will need to have the special execution equipped (for a fee) to see it on your screen.

Until the end of Season 1, there will be a “The Boys” event where you can unlock rewards by completing a series of challenges. You will also be able to use a special playlist that changes some of the mechanics of Kill Confirmed. Instead of badges, enemies will drop doses of Temp V, which will temporarily boost your performance. More strength, heat vision... the possibilities are endless.

Remember that all of the above is already available in Call of Duty: Warzone for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Some content, such as The Boys’ Operators, will also appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
