‘The Boys’ Season 5 has started filming, and already they’re teasing big surprises

Eric Kripke, the showrunner behind ‘The Boys’, has revealed the beginning of principal photography with a tease of the first episode’s script.

Antony Starr (Homelander), Karl Urban (Butcher), Jack Quaid (Hughie), and company are back at work. The filming of the fifth and final season of ‘The Boys’, one of the most successful series based on a comic in history, has already started, and now we already know the title of what will be the first episode of this final stretch.

After the devastating finale of the fourth season, at least for the group of “good guys”, the cards are on the table for this fifth season, and it remains to be seen what weapons they have to put an end, once and for all, with the ruthless Homelander. Anyway, the post-credits scene in the last episode of the previous season left an obvious clue, anticipating the return of one of the most charismatic characters. But he won’t be the only one back...

‘15 inches of Sheer Dynamite” will be the title of the first episode of the fifth season of ‘The Boys’, which seems to hint at the return of none other than Love Sausage, whose power resides between his legs, and who already made an appearance during the second season, to return in the third in the disappointing Herogasm. However, it could also be due to the debut in the series of Bombsight, one of the first Supes, whose appearance is already confirmed.

The kids of ‘Gen V’, also on the move

The young pupils of the Godolkin Academy have been filming for weeks already what will be the second season of ‘Gen V’, the very well-received spin-off of ‘The Boys’. They are doing it, unfortunately, without the presence of Chance Perdomo, who died last March in a motorcycle accident. The team of writers decided, not without giving it some thought, not to replace the actor and directly dispense with the character he played, Andre. It remains to be seen how they will explain it on a plot level.
