‘The Boys’ Season 5 shows its final trailer and it’s as bloody as expected
Homelander unleashes chaos as the Prime Video series heads toward its final chapter.
‘The Boys’ left us in a terrible situation for our heroes at the end of Season 4. Homelander has finally become what was most feared, and the situation is not pleasant for anyone. A few days before the series finished filming its fifth and final season, it was revealed that the Prime Video series would release its final trailer before its launch next month. The trailer has it all, and yes, there is plenty of blood. You can watch the trailer below:
The world of ‘The Boys’ is at a tense moment
The situation couldn’t be more tense and desperate; while Homelander is completely unleashed, living in his own world of whims and delusions, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are trapped in Freedom Camp. For her part, Starlight tries to deal with the growing pressure from the Supes; Kimiko is missing, and Butcher, consumed by his own hatred and killer instinct, reappears with the ultimate weapon against the Supers: a virus capable of wiping out all superheroes from the face of the Earth. Soldier Boy and Marie Moureau, the protagonist of Gen V, are set to play an important role in liberating the world from the tyranny of the villain played by Antony Starr.
When does the fifth and final season of ‘The Boys’ premiere?
Season 5 of ‘The Boys’ arrives on Prime Video on April 8. Until then, we can catch up on the previous four seasons, as well as the two seasons of ‘Gen V’, whose events seem to be key.
