The creators of Stranger Things 5′ are blunt about the final season: “It’s like eight blockbuster movies”
The show has already finished filming and will premiere sometime in 2025.

The end of the road is in sight. Almost eight years have passed since the first season of Stranger Things premiered, when its protagonists were still children. Now, the fifth and final season will conclude the main story, although Netflix is preparing other spin-offs that will continue the mystery and science fiction stories of this universe. Faced with the imminent farewell, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, the show’s creators, have reflected on the scale of ‘Stranger Things 5′ and assured that it is the most ambitious season yet.
“We spent a full year filming this season,” Ross Duffer say in a new behind-the-scenes teaser. “By the end, we’d captured over 650 hours of footage. So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It’s like eight blockbuster movies. It’s pretty insane.” Matt Duffer explained that this is also their “most personal story,” as it has been very emotional for both the actors and the showrunners themselves. “We’ve been making this show together for almost ten years. There was a lot of crying. There was SO much crying. The show means so much to all of us, and everyone put their hearts and souls into it. And we hope — and believe — that passion will translate to the screen.”
Emotions ran high, as we have seen in other videos. Milly Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, broke down in tears: “Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates,” she said. ”Not me. I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you.”
Stranger Things 5′ will premiere in 2025, but there is no specific date yet. Some users have delved into the web code and come up with a possible date: November 27.
