Motion Twin
The demo of Windblown, the new game from the creators of Dead Cells, is now available
Motion Twin gives players a taste of their ambitious project with a special reward and transferable progress.
It took six years for Dead Cells fans to get something new and different from the talented French studio Motion Twin, but the wait is finally over. While not a sequel, players will be happy to know that Windblown will be available to explore from this week, ahead of its official Early Access release on October 24th.
In the Windblown demo, players will have access to the first biome in solo mode, with the right to a guinea pig skin as a reward for testing the title early, and the freedom to carry their progress into the full version of the game later this month, where they will find additional biomes, bosses, weapons, and equipment.
The Windblown demo is now available on Steam for a limited time until the game’s early access launch on October 24th. For more information, visit the official Windblown website.
What is Windblown about?
Windblown is a frenetic and charming isometric rogue-lite that, although it differs from Dead Cells in many ways, shares with metroidvania a captivating look, frenetic combat and responsive controls, in a formula that at times reminds us of Transistor or Hades.
Set in a world of beautiful floating islands full of enemies, Windblown will put us in the role of a leaper, able to make instant jumps while fighting the fierce minions of the Vortex that threaten his home. Windblown will support cooperative play for up to three players and will feature multiple biomes, powers and weapons.
