If you like Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy franchise, today is a great day for you: The Division 3 has been announced! The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment (The Division 2, Far Cry 3, South Park: The Fractured But Whole), a studio that has also confirmed changes in its direction, Julian Gerighty is the new executive producer of the saga.

As of right now there are no videos, no images, no release window, and no details about the game. We also don’t know anything about the platforms it will release on, although we assume that it will come out on PS5, Xbox Series XS, and PC, at least, and we even wonder if it will do the same on the “Nintendo Switch 2.”

The Division 2 is currently still a very successful live-service title, with a couple of expansions under its belt and a healthy, stable community of active players.

Is The Division 2 worth it in 2023?

As we said, we know absolutely nothing about the recently confirmed The Division 3, beyond that it exists. So, how about trying out the previous game? Is it worth it today? The short answer is yes. In their review, our friends at MeriStation Spain said in their review that “it is the best looter shooter of the generation. There is no doubt about the excellent work that Massive Entertainment has done when it comes to building a sequel in its own right. But the merit does not come from now; “t has been years of constant work during the support that the original delivery received.”

The Division 2 is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One and PC.
