The Evil Within 2 is free to claim and keep on the Epic Games Store right now

Epic Games does not miss its weekly gift of free games and, as Halloween 2023 nears ever closer, it also continues to expand the horror experience that it left last week. This week we’re getting The Evil Within 2, the sequel to the horror and action-adventure developed by Tango Gameworks and directed by the legendary Shinji Mikami, creator of Resident Evil.

The Evil Within 2 managed to get an 80 in Metacritic. A game that in its day represented the latest evolution of survival horror. Detective Sebastian Castellanos has lost everything, but he can save his daughter if he descends once again into the nightmare world of STEM. Terrible threats emerge from every corner as everything twists and distorts around them. A much more open proposal than the first title in the saga.
