Scrubs nueva serie
Update:

Scrubs’ is back. After announcing its return in the form of a revival series, ABC has just released a first preview in which we see J.D. walking alongside Turk and Elliot through the corridors of Sacred Heart Hospital. Fifteen years after the end of the original series, the legendary sitcom starring Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke is back in style.

The new series of Scrubs will premiere on February 25, 2026, on ABC and Hulu. As you might expect, the plot will revolve around the reunion of J.D. and Turk, who will be working together again after a long time, and Elliot, Perry, and Carla will join them. All of them will have to adapt to new trends in the world of medicine alongside the addition of new interns and doctors at Sacred Heart. ABC assures us that this revival will once again focus on humor and emotional scenes, although there will also be room for some “surprises.”

‘Scrubs’ returns in February in style and with part of the original cast

Among the new additions to the Scrubs cast are Vanessa Bayer, Joel Kim Booster, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi, and Amanda Morrow. But watch out, Julia Reyes (Carla) and John C. McGinley (Perry) won’t be the only old friends returning; Phill Lewis (Hooch) and Robert Maschio (Todd) will also be back.

On the other hand, it should be noted that this revival will be directed by two true veterans of the series, Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra, who will serve as showrunners and executive producers. And Bill Lawrence, the original creator of ‘Scrubs,’ is also heavily involved in the production. The series couldn’t be in better hands, and the first teaser has won over fans of the original sitcom. Will this comeback live up to expectations?
