‘The Fantastic 4: First Steps’ reveals plot and confirms big Galactus threat

One of the most anticipated releases of 2025 is ‘The Fantastic 4: First Steps’, the return in style of one of Marvel’s most popular and mythical works. A few days after D23 Brazil, where the first trailer was leaked, we now know the official plot of a movie that will introduce us to one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe.

The official synopsis for The Fantastic 4: First Steps is as follows “The film follows Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”

A stellar cast for the return of a Marvel legend

One of the most outstanding and beloved works of the comic book world is ‘The Fantastic Four’, and in one way or another they have not yet had the fame and fortune they deserve in the film industry. No one doubted that they would reappear at some point and be part of the MCU, and they will do so with a cast led by figures such as Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach form the popular group of superheroes; while in the role of villains, the imposing voice of Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer.
