Sauron stars in the final trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ ahead of its premiere on Prime Video.
Middle-earth hurtles toward the great conflicts of the Second Age in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. Season 2 of the series unveils its final trailer before its August 29 premiere on Prime Video. We see conflicts, the kings of the dwarves fighting for everything and a young Sauron already touching the crown that will lead him to become the most powerful villain of the license. The producer insists on the protagonism that Sauron will take in this new chapter of the series. “Exiled by Galadriel, without an army or allies, the Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to regain his power and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will,” a press release states.
We know that season two will feature the highly anticipated Siege of Eregion, an unprecedented battle that will shape the future of the races. The conflict with Sauron seems inevitable at this point, and in this section of the story, he will finally explode into the character we all know from the books and movies.
Remember, the first three episodes of the series will premiere on August 29. Prime Video is going all out. From that moment on, they will unravel in a weekly rhythm until its expected conclusion on October 3 of this year. All the cards are on the table.
