The first big Switch 2 exclusive will have a Nintendo Direct very soon: confidence is high

Donkey Kong Bananza will have a Nintendo Direct dedicated exclusively to show new gameplay.

There is no doubt that Mario Kart World has grabbed all the attention at the launch of Nintendo Switch 2. However, its fans are already asking for an exclusive game that makes a difference. That’s where Donkey Kong Bananza comes in, which will arrive on the console on July 17. A month before, we will see the Mushroom Kingdom’s most famous gorilla in action in a Nintendo Direct dedicated entirely to his figure.

The Donkey Kong Bananza Nintendo Direct will air on June 18 at 6 a.m. PT via Nintendo’s official YouTube channels and its official website. It will last “about 15 minutes” and will show “information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game” in which Donkey Kong will live during the adventure.

What to expect from this Donkey Kong Bananza Direct?

Over the course of 15 minutes, we’ll be able to get a deeper look at what the second exclusive slated for the Nintendo Switch 2 is all about. From what we’ve seen, Donkey Kong Bananza will bring us a new 3D adventure in which we’ll help him in his quest to recover banana-shaped diamonds stolen from a group of villainous apes. For now the details of the game have been minimal so it will be the job of this Direct to show us more about what awaits us on July 17.
