Apple is already finalizing the details of its new iPhone, which will be the next generation of Apple phones. It will come with a host of new features to win over both fans of the brand and those who are unsure about switching from Android to iOS. Apparently, the iPhone 18 family will come with new, more powerful hardware and a much more optimized version of its operating system, as well as new colors for its covers and a dynamic island with less prominence on the screen.

This is according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, who points out that both the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature a smaller dynamic island, thus reconfiguring the way we receive notifications. And while this isn’t the first time such a significant design change has been discussed with regard to the latest iPhones, the fact is that this information is becoming more relevant than ever. This has been confirmed by MacRumors, which states that when there is an avalanche of specific information, “it’s usually true.”
On the other hand, with the new smaller dynamic island design of the new iPhones, it is expected that the facial recognition sensor or Face ID will be located under the screen. In addition, it is suggested that the size of the front camera will also be reduced to achieve a cleaner design. Although the most striking innovation is surely the increase in battery size.
This is according to Weibo via insider Digital Chat Station, who points out that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will come with a battery between 5100 and 5200 mAh, confirming the increase in capacity compared to the current model’s battery, which is 5088 mAh. In terms of hardware, on the other hand, it is suggested that the new iPhone models will incorporate the new 2-nanometer A20 Pro chip.
