The first image from the ‘Harry Potter’ series is pure nostalgia, and HBO has already set a release date for the trailer
HBO is already filming the first season of the series based on ‘Harry Potter’.

One of HBO’s most ambitious projects aims to bring the Wizarding World into the spotlight. The live-action ‘Harry Potter’ series is already in production. Its trailer is coming soon, so the team wanted to share its first image on social media. In fact, they’ve announced that we’ll see the video tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25.
Here’s the first look at Harry Potter in the new HBO series
This isn’t just any image. Die-hard fans of the franchise will appreciate the detail the production company has included. We see young Potter from behind, wearing his unmistakable red cloak with the number 7, moments before playing a Quidditch match. In his hand, he holds his magic broomstick, the vehicle that allows him to soar through the skies to catch the ball.
In front of him, a crowd of Hogwarts classmates has gathered to watch the game. Potter leaves a trail of footprints in the snow behind him. It certainly looks like the series aims to be very, very faithful to the original work. There is no confirmed release date yet, though it was already suggested to air in early 2027.
