The first image of Hagrid in the new Harry Potter series lives up to one of the most beloved characters
This is an endearing character who, in his new characterization, is very reminiscent of the character from the movies.

‘Harry Potter’ is preparing to return in series form, an HBO production that aims to become one of the biggest hits of recent years. A work that, thanks to its extension, aims to be much more faithful to the literary saga created by J. K. Rowling. After gradually getting to know the artists who will play the mythical characters, the beginning of filming this July allows us to see for the first time their characterization.
One of the most beloved characters of Harry Potter is Rubeus Hagrid, an endearing figure of enormous size that in the film saga was played by the late Robbie Coltrane. Now, the man in charge is Nick Frost, a British artist of great trajectory who, as you can see in the first image, fits perfectly with what is, without a doubt, one of the most important figures for Harry Potter.

Nick Frost’s Hagrid doesn’t convince everyone
It was to be expected, as a character so beloved and recognized over the years for his characterization in the movies was not going to leave anyone indifferent when his appearance with Nick Frost was first shown.
Frost’s Hagrid looks a lot like Coltrane’s, and that doesn’t convince everyone; there are those who comment on the networks that it looks like a copy and paste from the movies. This is a beloved work with millions of fans around the world who can only wish the series could live up to it.
