The teaser not only reveals details about Coach Ted Lasso’s return to London—this time to coach the AFC Richmond women’s team in the second division—but also brings back all those familiar faces, including Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. The main cast is now joined by Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely. The teaser also features Andrea Anders, Matteo van der Grijn, and Tracey Ullman in a yet-to-be-revealed guest role.
A Long-Awaited Return
For many years after the end of Ted Lasso’s Season 3, there were plenty of rumors about a possible return, even though the series had wrapped up on a high note. It took some time before Apple TV finally ordered the show’s fourth season in March 2025,

For now, the official logline reads as follows: “In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women’s soccer team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.” Season four will consist of a total of 10 episodes.
