The first Xbox Developer Direct of 2024 has just been announced: when and how to watch
Microsoft has just confirmed a digital streaming event focused on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the Indiana Jones game, and Avowed. Here’s everything we know.
The world of video games is waking up, finally returning from the holidays. Although 2023 will be difficult to match, at least there will be an effort made. Microsoft has decided to be the one to kick things off and has just announced the first event of 2024. It is an Xbox Developer Direct in which they will present some of their upcoming releases for this year (many of which have been rumored these days). Below you’ll find when it’ll take place, how to watch it and what to expect.
When does the Xbox Developer Direct 2024 take place and what to expect
The Xbox Developer Direct will take place on January 18, 2024 at 12pm PT. It is expected to last less than an hour, since at the end of it, at 1pm., there will be another Microsoft livestream where the next expansion of The Elder Scrolls: Online will be presented.
The company has announced that the event will focus on the new Indiana Jones game from Machine Games (the creators of Wolfenstein), the next RPG from Obsidian (Avowed), the curious Ara: History Untold and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, which hopefully will finally get a release date. It is also rumored that they could announce an expansion of releases on other gaming platforms, such as Hi-Fi Rush (last year’s big surprise) and Sea of Thieves.
