The ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ PlayStation-exclusive content will be made available to players on other platforms soon

As the exclusivity period comes to an end, Hogwarts Legacy is now preparing to bring the PlayStation-exclusive content to the rest of the platforms where it’s available.

Wizards on Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo, rejoice! The PlayStation-exclusive content that Hogwarts Legacy released with almost one year ago is set to arrive to the rest of the platforms and consoles where the game is available later this year.

The news were revealed by the game’s Twitter/X account, where they also announced that additional updates and features will also be released in the coming months. In case you were unaware, this exclusive content included what is regarded by many as one of the best quests in the game, Haunted Hogsmeade, which when completed gives cosmetic gameplay rewards.

“As we near the one-year anniversary of Hogwarts Legacy, we wanted to let our community know that the Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation-exclusive content will be available on other platforms later this summer,” says the game’s official account on Twitter/X. “Along with additional updates and features for the game. Stay tuned in the coming months for more details on what’s coming to Hogwarts Legacy this year.”

Hogwarts Legacy was 2023′s best-selling game

At the beginning of 2024, an interview with the president of Warner Bros. Games, David Haddad, revealed that Hogwarts Lefacy had sold over 22 million copies since its release. This number turned out to position the game as 2023′s best selling game, even above many of the regular heavy-hitters like Call of Duty and several sports titles.

This success has not gone unnoticed, with Warner Bros. Games announcing that they have already plans for many more entries into the Wizarding World series of games, which will no doubt gain even more traction as a Harry Potter reboot is already underway at HBO for the coming years.
