‘The Last of Us’ confirms final premiere date for second season on Max
The series will continue the story of Ellie and Joel and introduce Abby, one of the main characters from The Last of Us Part 2.

HBO had announced that Season 2 of 'The Last of Us' would arrive at Max during the month of April, but so far had not specified a more specific date... until now. Through social networks, the platform has revealed that the new episodes will begin airing on April 13 in the United States. In addition, the announcement is accompanied by three individual posters starring Ellie, Abby and Joel.
The plot of the second season does not cover the entire plot of The Last of Us Part 2, as it will be developed over several seasons. Recently, HBO explained that they have not yet closed the plan for the series, but the idea is that it will be completed after the end of the fourth season: “I wouldn’t want to confirm that, but it’s looking like this season and then two more seasons after this and we’re done.,” said the head of film and drama series, Francesca Orsi.
Ellie and Abby’s journey
“Every path has a price” is the motto of the second season of ‘The Last of Us’, which refers to what happened in the past of the two protagonists, Ellie and Abby. Although it is already confirmed that there will be changes in relation to the video game - the first of which is the physical change of Abby, who in the original version has a very muscular body - the plot is channeled through the hatred of the characters who travel the post-apocalyptic United States in search of revenge.
The first season of ‘The Last of Us’ is available on Max.
