“The LeBron James of dragons”: This is the terrifying monster of ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2

The second season of “House of the Dragon” will feature dragons more prominently. The symbol of the Targaryens was already left at the beginning of the series, but now they will play a more relevant role on the map of Westeros. Ryan Condal, showrunner of the project, compares the fierce Vhagar to LeBron James.

“It makes the whole team better, [...] Vhagar is a big threat,” he reveals. The comparison to the Los Angeles Lakers star is apt, given the dragon’s history. The mount that Aemond Targaryen will ride is fierce, and it paves the way for his brothers to answer the call of fire.

We know that at least 5 unseen dragons will appear on camera in Season 2, a significant number that reinforces the Dance of the Dragons upon which the Targaryen Age of Terror is built.

When will the second season of ‘House of the Dragon’ premiere?

There is not much left to know the new step of the franchise on the small screen. It will be next June 16 when the second season in the catalog of Max. About its content has transcended that it will tell much of the dance of the dragons, but will not cover everything. To complete it, they will wait to capture it in season 3, which is still in the writing phase.

The second season will reduce the number of episodes compared to the first. From 10 to 8, although the length of each episode has not been disclosed for the moment.
