‘Naruto’ is one of the most popular manga and anime in history, and the work of Masashi Kishimoto continues to make people talk despite having finished its original story, and now has a live-action film on the way made by a prominent director known for films such as ‘Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings’ from Marvel Studios.

An interview in Entertainment Weekly with screenwriter Tasha Huo showed that “her script is done,” highlighting that director Destin Daniel Cretton already has it in his hands. An important moment for the long-awaited live-action, with the screenwriter declaring that her trust in Cretton is as high as it can be, pointing out and praising the filmmaker’s “very personal and relatable” style.

‘Naruto’ and its move to the big screen in the form of live-actionaction

Regarding the live-action and its director, Huo highlighted that “I think that’s such a cool choice because he’s going to be able to capture how nuanced and special Naruto is without getting distracted by the big world that it is, which I think could easily be done by someone who’s not a fan or someone who’s coming in for a cash payday. This is definitely a movie that comes at it from a love of who Naruto is and that character and his relationships.”

Masashi Kishimoto himself also spoke about the live-action film, highlighting how much he admires Destin Daniel Cretton and how he believes that because of his way of seeing and shooting action, as well as creating dramas around the characters, he is an ideal director. to transfer the Konoha ninja to the big screen is not going to be an easy feat, and plenty of work will have to be done tp make it possible.
