‘The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’ unveils its epic musical theme in a new trailer

Middle-Earth is exploding back onto the big screen with a new musical theme for ‘War of the Rohirrim’, the anime prequel to ‘The Lord of the Rings’ releasing this December

On December 13,’The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’ will be released in theaters all over the world. An animated film that brings the cinematographic universe around the work of J.R.R. Tolkien created by Peter Jackson back to the big screen. It is a film that aims to have all the epic of the original trilogy and that in its latest trailer has shown us ‘The Rider’, an epic song written by Phoebe Gittins and David Long and performed by British singer Paris Paloma, and which immediately transports us to a Middle-Earth.

The new ‘Lord of the Rings’ movie is directed by Japanese filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama, known for working on works such as ‘Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex’. ‘The War of the Rohirrim’ is set 183 years before the original trilogy, taking us to a time when Helm “Hammerhand” was the king of Rohan, and in the film we will have his daughter, Hera, as the protagonist of the story which will show a family drama that ends up exploding into a conflict of enormous dimensions after her refusal to marry Wulf, thus causing a fight between her father and Wulf’s father, Freca.
