‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ unveils its first trailer at D23 2024

The Mandalorian is jumping onto the big screen in 2026, and we now have our first look at the upcoming Star Wars movie.

D23 2024 has been a complete success, as the Disney Entertainment Showcase held at the Honda Center in Anaheim presented a multitude of upcoming projects from the company over the course of three hours. Amazing series and movies that have only confirmed the great state of health of Disney and its products today, with one of the most anticipated being ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’, the ‘Star Wars’ film based on the popular series starring Pedro Pascal.

The first teaser trailer for the film was shown exclusively to those attending D23, but a recording from the event allows us to get the first look at what will be the film by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The film will be released on May 22, 2026, so the images shown serve to calm the anxiety before its distant premiere, even revealing Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels, a beloved character who is a hero for the Republic and who is working directly with Din Djarin this time.

A successful series that will hit the big screen

The teaser trailer for ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ served to show the film’s logo, which looks spectacular and represents the two characters who are going to star in it. The first look at the movie not only shows us Zed, but we can also see the ship from the first two seasons, Razor Crest, AT-AT, troops in the snow, and Grogu along with some Anzellians.
