The most anticipated exclusive games for Nintendo Switch of 2024

2024 could very well be a very important year for Nintendo fans, but in the meantime, let’s take a look at what awaits the Switch in terms of releases in the next 12 months… that we know of!

Let’s be clear: 2023 has been spectacular in terms of exclusives within the Nintendo Switch catalog. The last 12 months of the console have given us the return of cult classics as great successes that surpass the barrier of outstanding. At the start of 2024, it is still difficult to determine what the course will be like for the console, but what is clear is that they’re starting the year with momentum.

The list below is not a complete list of the exclusives that will arrive in 2024. Nintendo always has projects up its sleeve to show in the various editions of its popular Nintendo Direct, with most of what’s to be released in the year being revealed at the start of the fiscal year. The first of this year will be key to know at least what the console will have in store for us during the first half.

Another Code: Recollection

  • Release: January 19

2024 begins with an unexpected return. Many will remember Another Code: Two Memories during the Nintendo DS era. The feeling of the story and the emphasis on narrative signed an adventure that resonated deeply with the players who gave it a chance. Now it arrives 8 years later in the form of a reimagining for Nintendo Switch and along with its sequel, Another Code: R - Beyond memory. In addition to updating the graphics, new voice acting and puzzles are added to add more spice to the package.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong

  • Release: February 16

We continue with the returns. This time we must look back to the Game Boy Advance to see first-hand the nice Mario vs. Donkey Kong. The mythical rivalry between the two characters shaped an atypical puzzle game, but with the diversity of situations in which only they know how to shine.We find another reimagination that transports the settings to the appearance that Mario games have shown in recent years. Observe your surroundings, think about your moves, and nail the moves in a game perfect for puzzle fans.

Princess Peach: Showtime!

The most famous princess of the Mushroom Kingdom will bring out her best skills in this solo delivery. For many actors, life is the theater, and for Peach it will also be during her offensive against the Grape and the Sour Bunch. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD

Many find the Luigi’s Mansion saga to be the ideal format for Mario’s little brother. Luigi’s Mansion 2 was one of the games that shaped the Nintendo 3DS catalog, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch in the form of a remaster. Little information is known right now about the specific scope of the improvements, but we know the Tower of Frights is one of the returning features, a challenge for up to four players across the network where the ghost hunting season has already begun.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

  • Release: 2024

The Intelligent Systems classic returns this year as a new step by Nintendo to revalue the excellent GameCube catalog. The reimagination of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door aims very high, as can be seen in its first and only trailer so far. Again, little information has been revealed, but we have no doubt that it will be the best way to revive (or discover) a top RPG.
