The most deadly Cristiano Ronaldo; first images of his character in the new fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
The day CR7’s fans have been waiting for has finally arrived, as this is his new character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, a new fighting game and the return of one of SNK’s most iconic sagas.

In late 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo revolutionized the video game world with the announcement that he would be one of the new fighters in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. In addition to the return of SNK’s legendary fighting game saga, Cristiano, arguably the best footballer of all time, would also be on hand to lend his physique to players as they take on the fierce characters of this highly anticipated title. Today, the official trailer has been released, giving us the chance to see CR7’s avatar in action, punching, kicking and performing all sorts of acrobatics to show that he is not only deadly on the pitch, but also in one-on-one fighting games.
This is Cristiano Ronaldo in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the first look at his character
Cristiano Ronaldo is going to be one of the biggest novelties of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, a fighting video game that will be available on April 24th on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. CR7 joins a roster that includes such iconic figures of the medium as Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui and even Ken and Chun-Li from Street Fighter, who are also guest stars in this video game along with Ronaldo. Check out the official trailer for this new character below:
Cristiano, who already has his own biography on the game’s official website, has a unique fighting style that combines martial arts and football. “One oo the top football players in the world. He uses his time off to visit South Town to hone his new football skills. The various techniques he has developed playing football make him an unstoppable force, even to seasoned fighters,” his profile reads. The facial resemblance is questionable, although it can be justified by the strong comic and cartoon style of the game’s characters. His standard outfit is a soccer jersey, with his number 7 clearly visible, and the colors red and green, similar to those of the Portuguese national team.
The official render of the fighter shows Cristiano in one of his iconic celebratory poses, and his mythical “SIIIIIU” also comes into the game as a victory pose every time he manages to beat his rivals in fights. Unfortunately, it is not the player himself who lends his voice to his digital version, but his voice actor is Juan Felipe Sierra, who has managed to copy the star’s voice convincingly.

While the inclusion of such an immensely popular figure in a fighting video game may seem far-fetched, follow the money. In 2022, Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, acquired virtually all of SNK, a veteran video game developer that was immensely popular in the late 1980s and 1990s. bin Salman, who also serves as the country’s Prime Minister, was one of the key figures in bringing Cristiano to Al Nassr in late 2022, with the deal taking effect in 2023. This establishes the connection between Cristiano Ronaldo and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the next installment in SNK’s Fatal Fury saga.
