The World Warrior Tournament is about to begin!

Who would have thought we’d actually end up here? A Street Fighter movie that proves what we used to play back in the early ’90s could actually come true. It’s been several months since we first saw the character posters, which hinted at the level of detail the film might offer, and now we have this first trailer that makes one thing clear: Street Fighter on the big screen can be as good as it is ridiculous. Street Fighter (2026): release date, synopsis, cast, and everything we know
This adaptation of Street Fighter will be released on October 16, 2026. The film is being produced by Legendary Pictures and Capcom itself, and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is directed by Kitao Sakurai, who also directed the acclaimed adaptation Twisted Metal, based on the Sony video games of the same name, and the screenplay is by Dalan Musson (Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Captain America: Brave New World).
