Update:

This isn’t the first time LEGO and Nintendo have thrilled us with one of their sets, and this time, one of the most impressive moments from The Legend of Zelda is set to arrive in the form of little bricks.

Through its social media accounts, Nintendo of America shared a short video showing Link, Zelda, and Navi looking at something casting a huge shadow. The post is accompanied by the caption “Do you realize who you’re dealing with?” The video ends with the phrase “Build the Legend. Coming in 2026.” This moment represents the final battle between Link and Zelda against Ganon in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Although details are minimal for now, it seems to indicate that this set will be based on this scene and will include these four characters.

When will the new LEGO Legend of Zelda set arrive?

Although there are no official details, this set had already been leaked on Reddit by BrickTap, with rumors indicating that it would consist of 1,003 pieces and have a release date of March 1, 2026. As always, we’ll have to wait for official details from LEGO or Nintendo about what the second set based on The Legend of Zelda will be. The first was inspired by the Great Deku Tree, with details inspired by both Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild.

The partnership between Lego and Nintendo continues, following a year in which the GameBoy-inspired set debuted (which modders have already worked to turn into a functional console). Next year, a new Pokémon-inspired set will arrive from LEGO, and new Animal Crossing: New Horizons sets are also scheduled for 2026.
