'The Office' crossover where Jesse Pinkman tried to sell meth to Creed

The world of television crossovers is nothing new, but it is something we would like to see more of. It’s no surprise that our favorite shows sometimes cross paths, especially when they belong to the same network. We’ve had crossovers as classic as The Flintstones meet The Jetsons, to encounters like Friends with Mad About You, New Girl with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, to more planned events like the Arrowverse’s Crisis On Infinite Earths (which makes more sense because of its comic book background). And well, we have more in the animated world with Scooby-Doo being the Lord and Master. But in 2011, two of the most popular shows of the moment, but opposites in theme and even location, met in a way that made sense.

The time The Office and Breaking Bad crossed paths

It was during the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards, when a sketch was presented that featured The Office as the centerpiece of a meeting of the most important people in American television at the time, under the theme “The Most Annoying Thing At My Job,” in the famous Dunder Mifflin office.

While the sketch featured actors and celebrities like Aziz Ansari, Kim Kardashian, Tracy Morgan, Amy Poehler, John Slattery, Nathan Fillion and even Ashton Kutcher, one of the sketch’s most interesting moments happens when Jesse Pinkman and Creed Bratton cross paths.

Jesse, being the discreet man he sometimes was, tries to go as unnoticed as possible. Though Creed being Creed, well, he doesn’t mind letting everyone know that “my crystal meth is here, folks!” But hey, that happens when they let anyone in the building.

Of course, being a sketch, this is not canon, although it is not hard to imagine that Creed could have gotten his hands on Heisenberg’s product, and that it was delivered directly to his place of work, despite the trip from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Scranton, Pennsylvania.
