The official trailer for ‘Masters of the Universe’ showcases the spectacular world of Eternia in the most anticipated return
The popular 1980s franchise returns with a movie that aims to be a huge hit.
‘Masters of the Universe’ has released its official trailer, and the return of Mattel’s action hero couldn’t be in better hands. The film is directed by Travis Knight, known for ‘Bumblebee,’ and stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man, alongside an all-star cast including Idris Elba, Morena Baccarin, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, and Camila Mendes, among others.
The Amazon Studios film will hit theaters on June 5, and its official trailer has given us the most spectacular look at Eternia to date. The story promises to be full of excitement and memorable moments, with the protagonist returning home after spending several years in exile on Earth.
A dream comeback for fans of an ’80s icon
The new trailer for ‘Masters of the Universe’ gives us a glimpse of characters like Teela, played by Camila Mendes; Man-At-Arms, portrayed by Idris Elba; and Evil-Lyn, played by Alison Brie.

The synopsis for *Masters of the Universe* reads as follows: “The film will follow 10-year-old Prince Adam who crashed to Earth in a spaceship and was separated from his magical Power Sword—the only link to his home on Eternia,” says the official synopsis. “After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor.
