One Piece
The 'One Piece' manga suffers a new delay due to Eiichiro Oda's health condition
A new hiatus of several weeks for the manga.
‘One Piece’ has been with us for almost three decades, and in all these years it has practically never given its followers a break, but lately, this has changed, and beyond the usual breaks taken by the manga, other more extensive ones have begun to appear due to Eiichiro Oda’s health. On this occasion, the editorial staff of Shonen Jump confirmed in an official statement that “because to the author’s poor physical health condition, ‘One Piece’ will take a break in this week’s issue.”
The news has shocked his fans, but it is not known what the Japanese author’s health problem is. Earlier this year, after the death of his colleague and friend Akira Toriyama, Oda stated that he was monitoring his blood pressure. Still, there is no confirmation that his poor health has to do with this fact. However, during an interview, he stated that the doctor had warned him that his blood pressure numbers were too high. However, according to the author “an ideal blood pressure can’t always be applied to everyone and so there is no problem.”
The current moment of the manga ‘One Piece’
Chapter 1131 of the manga once again filled its followers with great expectations, as Oda’s work returned after a three-week hiatus in which we learned more about the new arc of Elbaph. Now we have to wait another three weeks for chapter 1132, but the most important thing is that the Japanese author is in the best possible shape. The large number of existing projects around One Piece and the pressure of approaching the end is not something to be taken lightly.
